Dancing Deer Mountain
25545 Hall Road
Junction City, Oregon
We will be having a meaningful ceremony, and a relaxed, casual reception. They are both taking place at Dancing Deer Mountain . The party will be over, and we will all be on our way well before sundown.
The event is outdoors in forest shade. The ceremony will be uncovered, and the reception is in a covered pavilion. There is a short walk from the parking area, which is grassy, to the ceremony and reception site. There is a place to drive up and drop people off if you or someone in your party would find the walk to be a hardship.
The location's weather varies from cool to hot in August. On average it is sunny with a high temperature of 82F. However, Oregon's weather is quite variable: 90% of the time between 72F (overcast) and 92F (fair). In the shade of the forest it may be 5-10F cooler.
Appropriate attire will be anywhere from very casual to business casual, comfortable and lightweight enough for warm summer weather. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Although not required or expected, some of you will choose to play with us and wear one or more garments or accessories which are appropriate to our theme. More information can be found on the Theme page. Theme Ideas
